It's back!
The Tampa Bay Area Regional Transportation Authority (TBARTA), tasked with developing a seven county transportation master plan, has introduced a future corridor that looks almost identical to the beltway/bypass that was defeated by your outcry against it. TBARTA is claiming the corridor is a freight rail corridor however when pressed with questions admit that it could be for a new road.

Here is the map (pdf) Not only will you see the familiar green line but also a purple one that runs up CR 39.
